Hot Stone Massage

Experience this relaxing massage where smooth stones are incorporated throughout your time on the table.  The warmth and weight of the stones with movement simulates blood flow while the use of static placement of stones in key areas activates the proprioceptive receptors of muscles, causing positive effects like deep relaxation. This massage includes direct muscle massage as well as stone massage.

Swedish/Relaxation Massage

The Swedish massage is based on the Western concepts of anatomy and physiology, Swedish massage uses light to medium pressure and provides generalized relaxation, improves circulation, lowers blood pressure, and reduces stress.  It provides full-body muscle relaxation that can be very helpful when recovering from injury.

Brown-Rogers now offers a range of Massage Therapy services to complement your therapy experience.  Our massage therapists are specially trained to understand underlying anatomy and are able to communicate with your treating therapist about the right plan for your injury.  Specialty massages are given below, but the options are truly unlimited.  A comprehensive consultation with your massage therapist prior to your massage/bodywork will allow customization of your experience and target problem areas.  
 
These massage services are offered not only at our Jefferson Location, but also at our Wellness division, Elevate Wellness Studio on Goodwood Boulevard.
 
 
Back Massage

Therapeutic Massage

The therapeutic massage uses a combination of deep tissue massage, Swedish massage, and therapeutic techniques such as Myofascial release and trigger point therapy to address specific pain or stress/tension areas.  This approach involves the client collaborating with the treating therapist in order to achieve targeted results.  Therapeutic massage is an excellent complement to Physical Therapy treatment.
