Aquatic Facility Brown-Rogers

Aquatics

The Aquatic Therapy program at Brown-Rogers focuses on in-pool exercise with a certified therapist.

Our heated pool is located apart from the general treatment areas and has a single level, non-sloping floor, as well as an area for deep water activities.  The pool is heated to 94 degrees while the ambient room temperature is held close to water temperature for patient comfort.

McKenzie Spine Treatment

Unique to the McKenzie Method is an algorithm that leads to the simple classification of spinal-related disorders.  It is based on a consistent “cause and effect" relationship between historical pain behavior as well as the pain response to repeated test movement, positions, and activities during the assessment process.  McKenzie treatment uniquely emphasizes education and active patient involvement in the management of their treatment.
