A Leader in Pelvic Floor Health
In 2004, Brown-Rogers opened as an orthopaedic outpatient therapy clinic, and in 2006 became the first private clinic to offer outpatient pelvic floor therapy, expanding the reach of this service into the community from established hospital-based programs. Because we provide respectful, compassionate, and personalized care to each patient, treating patients with bladder and bowel dysfunction is harmonious with our comprehensive approach and core values. In most cases, treatments are covered by Medicare and major insurers.
PELVIC FLOOR HEALTH
The Essential Program:
The pelvic floor program at Brown-Rogers offers an effective solution to pelvic floor dysfunction. In therapy, patients receive customized treatment that is based on clinical findings and related medical history. The program includes muscle training with the use of biofeedback, education in lifestyle modification, dietary advice, postural education, core strengthening, and an individualized home exercise program.

How our program differs from other Baton Rouge pelvic floor programs:
Brown-Rogers offers treatment that is truly innovative and individualized. We understand that the same approach will not work with every client, as the treatment of bowel or bladder dysfunction can very complex. Our therapists take the time to understand your individual situation, and understand that each client will be different. We want to walk with each patient on his or her own path to healing, recognizing the uniqueness of the journey.
